Installing a new belt on my 14 LTX after flat spotting it during a good "stuck".

Same here, rode with a few buddies on doo's one brand new and one 09 and both are going to the dealer for repairs. Man I'm glad I'm not on a Doo anymore.

Discovered bent right side arm on my apex while installing oillites after some tree love. Looks like I get to ride my fathers sled again this weekend if no parts around. Never seen a lower bolt bent in a w before.

Replaced my blown pto side driveshaft bearing: I should have replaced it sooner like many of the pros on here tell you to do. If you’re reading this and thinking about changing yours: DO IT. It only cost me $34 canadian pesos right from Yamaha and its way easy to change on its own. I also noted the new NTN bearing has a steel seal with a rubber lip vs the all rubber seal the original bearing had. This one made it to 6000 miles before the inner race broke in half. Surprisingly no other damage occurred to the rest of the driveline. It sounded horrible when it went and I even had to drive 5 miles on it to get to the nearest road. I took the whole chaincase apart, inspected the gears, gave it a good cleaning and it was all fine. I repacked the bottom chaincase driveshaft bearing with Aeroshell (it is indeed a sealed bearing, not lubricated with chain case oil despite some popular belief), reassembled and test rode. Back to being smooth as a good german lager.
