hey fellas i need help with code 43 and how do i fix it and what ever it needs to be done HELP ME

Code 43 is Fuel System Voltage: The ECU is unable to monitor the battery voltage most likely an open circuit in the line to the ECU.

i took off the dcm and found oil inside the gray plug is this normal and it looked clean b 4 i took it off.cleaned it out but havent run my apex yet.

Atmospheric pressure Defective values are detected due to the internal malfunction Fixes the intake air pressure and atmospheric pressure to 85.0 kPa. Able Able
21 Coolant temperature sensor Coolant temperature sensor-open or short circuit detected Fixes the coolant temperature to 600 C. After the engine starts, the radiator fan relay will be turned on. Able Able

Example, when the #1 cylinder is defective, cut the injection of #1 and #4 cylinders. Turn on the power to the air induction solenoid to always cut-off the aire Able (depending on the number of faulty cylinders) Able (depending on the number of faulty cylinders)
42 Speed sensor No normal signals are received from the speed sensor Assumes highest ratio Able Able
43 Fuel system voltage (monitor voltage) The ECU is unable to monitor the battery voltage (an open circuit in the line to the ECU) Fixes the battery voltage to 12 V Able Able

Is your airbox full of oil? Any oil in the "belly pan" area? Maybe you have a leak. My oil tank started to crack and leak. Oil got everywhere.

When you turn the key does the fuel pump energize? If not and the sled won't turn over, you have a short in the ground. Mine did the same thing this year. Check the wiring harness along the left side frame above the primary clutch. Seems to be a popular spot for a ground wire break.

the pump does not energize when i turnt he key on when i tore every thing off and took a break it pumped but it did it once and puting the damn rubber seal sux as hell thanks for the info where the ground is i'll check it out later on today.

oh k fellas i jiggled my wiring above pto side and the mtor ran.but i dont know what color the wire is does any body know the wire i suppose to check thanks for ur replies.

heres what caused my apex code 43.the wire melted and burned and i dont know what caused it to melt and fuse to other wires ok here it goes i had to open up bunch of ground wires on the left side of harness and fix the problem.if ya'll have code 43 heres a pic of open wire on pto side left side of small box of grounds.

Snoman,
Glad you got her fixed. Same exact thing in the same exact spot as mine did.
Unfortunately mine did it on day 1 of a weeks ride in Ontario. Pretty tough to fix on the trail. I had to hitchhike 80 miles back to the hotel and rode double on my bride's Vector for the next 780 miles.
Those who have some time before next season should check this spot to see if your's are starting to do the same thing.

Glad to hear everything back up man,
Same thing happened to My Phazer
They had to replace the whole wiring harness,
took two months just because t was the frist phazer
it happened to the mechanic that worked on it said
that he was suprised it got as many Km's on it as it had
