03 rx1 darting

i read alot about shiming the rubber blocks to help decrease or eliminate darting but don't quit understand what to shim.is it the rear of the ski rubbers between the bottom of the ski leg and the aluminum bracket?and what do i excactly do.

so all this realy does is force the front of the ski up and it works?
also reading about carb needles some say more fuel some say less what should i do? plan A: from middle clip position (stock) raise clip dropping the needle =leaner right??? or plan B drop clip raise needle = richer?

ricco.........Alternatively, you could try a set of Woody's Doolys. From what I've read, they eliminate darting. Here's a link to a thread I started:

Ricco, I have stock ski's, and woody doolies and zero darting! Would highly recommend!! Bill
 
ricco - Make sure your toe-out are set to spec, then shim the rubber block by putting in a shim in the back of the block. I did use a piece of drive belt which I made to fit in there and used some glue and a few small screws to hold it in place. Works great and cost is like nothing.
 
i just put the blocks in and went for rip . i can't beleive it . it worked and didn't cost a thing. my woodys exect's seem to work just fine. looks like a might get a few hundred miles in the saddle yet our trails are unbeleivable. just a few weeks ago we thought it was over thanks mother nature you rock.
