Just installed a Kerker Under tunnel exhaust. Now my sled dosn't sound like a high speed sewing machine anymore.
At WOT while climbing, the sled seems to bog. I was told I am probably running rich on the top end because of the new exhaust. The sled also has a hesitation at the bottom end now. Apparently you can adjust the EFI through the sled controls. Can anyone tell me where to find how to get into this controller. It has something to do with attaching a ground wire at the front of the sled. I have done searchs but can't find anything.
Thanks

I'm looking for that EFI adjust, no luck yet. I know it's here.
But can you tell more about the under tunnel exhaust!!
Which Kerker pipe was it?

Not sure which model it is, but it came off a Yamaha R1 bike.
It was simple to install and took about an hour. Removed stock exhaust and seat. Heated the pipe a few inches back from where the stock exhaust attached and carefully bent it down. Welded up an adaptor to attach to the Kerker exhaust. Slipped it over the pipe and clamped it tight. I trippled up some exhaust straping and ran it around the exhaust and through the origanal mount holes in the tunnel. Put a piece of high temp rubber between the cross brace and the exhaust just so it dosen't rub through.
Seems to work well and haven't had any problems with snow pluging it off, but I am having some performance issues that I need to work out.
I now have lots of room to mount a rack.

I think a guy is going to need to do more than adjust the CO's which is what the wire thing does. I think you will need to go to a new map from a new controller like a Power commander or something. I'm kind of waiting to see if somebody comes up with something before I jump in.
I know Excel is selling the Power Commander along with his exhaust. If I were to guess on your sled with the freer flowing exhaust it should be lean on top unless it is plugging off with snow in which case it would be fat.

You may be right. I was told to give this a try as it is an cheap way of possably fixing my problem. I will try it next weekend and see what happens.
