IMO this is much more due to transfer then any light bracket....I took a hard look at the light bracket and feel this has little to do with the so called headlight into the trees...
this IMO is simply cause you are cracking the throttle and have so much transfer..
For the WIND to actually pull back on a LOW windshield, you would have to be really cooking along, and those speeds arent typically reached in trails where the light in trees would happen.
I simply adjusted my lite down quite abit,to where the HI beam is just perfect for ALL AROUND NIGHT RIDING....then when it really snows hard OR for daytime riding i use low beam...
also,if your on the throttle alot you can then kick down to low beam so its not in trees...

I agree 100% Dan, as per my post. The Yammy skids never transferred well, or there wasn't any travel to transfer, so the headlight was never an issue. Had people driven newer ZRs, Edge, or whatever, you'd see similar characteristics when punching the throttle. Be glad you now have a decent suspension.

Did this mod before I went on our bagger trip. Headlight was right where I had it Aimed. Dan, if you put ANY pressure on the stock height Attak windshield, the light points up. This mod TOTALLYAMAHA cured it!!

its not just the lights in the trees, riding the woods your usually on and off the gas enough that you can manage to see to stay on the trail, its running 10 miles wot on long lake at night and the headlight isnt even shining on the snow unless you hold the mid height shield forward with one hand and drive with the other, low shield not a problem but mid height is big problem,i still agree there is too much gap between low and hi but at least the flexing doesnt add to the problem

I dont have a flexing issue..... but when we set up the sled the way I like it (a arms a little below level with the ground) it points into the dirt now. Low beams shine on my ski loops, and high beams ride right but are too bright for others driving by.
