Yep mine is bent too. Will it hurt anything riding in like this for a season. Don't want to spend $500 for a new one just yet. Maybe after tax season!

How did you notice it was bent? Was it obvious? Hopefully the "new" ones are beefed up if you have to fork out 500 big ones!

When I got done riding today front bumper looked shifted to the left. Left shock is about 1/8" closer to a frame then the right. Didn't see any buckling but didn't have a good light either. Could it be something else bent?

do you have to get a whole new subframe or is it possible to bend it back?

Good question. Can someone answer that?

I think it would be cool if someone took a new sub-frame and made a hole location jig.
Although it seems anyone whose got a new sub-frame is anxious to install it, not measure it.
Anyway... Then you'd know just how much the thing is twisted and where to pry and pull to straighten it.

Guys bend them back all the time. But you're gonna want to strengthen it too.. Or wait for it to happen again. Theres a thread floating around on what gussets to weld to it and where.
Look around online for pics on how the spindles should be angled and then reef on yours until it back in place.

is somewhat harder steering a sign of this or would that be something else?

Harder then what?
= Then it used to be, or harder then other sleds?

A bent frame can increase steering pressure, as there may be extra pressure on the steering post and linkages, tie rods, bushings and ball joints, which can increase wear on these components and possibilty of failure.
Jack up the sled so the skis aren't touching the ground. Try a full sweep of the handlebars to check for binding and stiffness. Perform a ski alignment as a bent frame will surely knock them out of alignment, also causing darting on the trails.
