Well, I finally got my temp gauge installed Saturday morning. Took my time and everything went fine. All my wiring was fine the first time around. Spliced the two hot wires from the gauge and went to the blue/white wire in the fuse block. Took the two ground wires from the gauge and went to a bolt on the frame. I soldered a wire directly onto the Tee itself and went to the same bolt that I used for the ground for the gauge. Fired the sled up and the guage worked right away. Here are some pics of the install.

Very nice! I have a question though. Why did you solder in the two pipes on each end? The clamps are on the Tee. The pipes don't look like they where needed and would reduce the opening size.

Looks great, but sometimes you don't want to know how hot your running it could scare you.

I soldered the extra pieces because for some reason I didnt feel safe with the hose just over the ends of the Tee. Probably didnt need them but I feel safer now. When I first bought the sled I said I wasnt going to do any mods....seems like the list gets longer and longer by the day.

Sounds good to me. If you want I can write up a more detailed summary. Probably could include a few more pics to.

Looks good. I installed a guage on my 03 RX Mountain. Am planning to buy a Venture TF and am planning to install a guage before I go for my first run. Had cooling issue on the RX when on hard packed trails. Installed the rear cooler and solved that problem. Can't see how a cooler can be installed on the Venture very easily.

Also I wired the grounds from the gauge & gauge light to the ground on the headlight plug right next to the gauge.
