My 03 RX1 with ecp and clutch kit do against my buddy's 06 apex box stock in 1000 ft? With no snow around here maybe I'll never know. lol :4STroke:

Thanks swiss I forgot to mention Were both studded 192 an I have the shotgun 125 track on mine. Just wondering if I'll be in the same ballpark.

sled

I have seen a rx1 with simons cpr clutching, ehaust mod,and filter kit beat apexs.

My 03 with ECP and clutching can hold it's own against an Apex just ask MrSled ;)! The Apex has a better throttle response and will take you from a dead stop but the 03 setup well will keep right with it on top end.

I figured it might be real close. We are a competitive duo. All about bragging rights you know. Thanks for your replies. Like to get a Apex maybe next year.

In that video the Rx-1 hesitated on off throttle not a good comparison IMO but looked like the apex was alittle quicker anyway

ummm, that Apex in the video took 4th place at the Haydays this amongst many other accomplishments this year.......Ricky-dicky-doo's RX1 didn't stand a chance!!!

Here is the wheelie king himself...

The only hesitation that sled has is due to traction...but none the less...he put 4 sleds on me in like 40 feet lol. We were just goofing around but it does illustrate quite clearly the difference between a trail sled and a race sled.

I don't have a video of the box stock apex I raced but I think he and I will be side by side if he does some clutching. The ECP's sound INCREDIBLE btw.

I ran several apex's on Back Lake last year with my Warrior loaded with the ECP and heavy hitters and never saw a tail light (stock Apex/Attacks). I also ran into a couple of clutched Apex's and swapped wins. I also ran my track to the point that it would ratchet. Different story with the Expert however. Made at least a 5MPH(+) difference.

1000 ft will be tough, who ever gets the hole shot is going to win and unless you put in a mono skid he will get the hole shot. now if you want to talk top speed then loosen your track, adjust transfer rods to 0 transfer and you should smoke him on top end. Mine will go by my brothers without a problem on top end but radar runs he's usually about 1 mph faster.
