Since track and sprocket is expensive, other part needed for modification was done, at a very low cost. At expense of look and finish.

Great work tundra, sometimes one have to choose functionality over looks, you've done a great job re-using parts.

Keep the pics coming.

BTW - could you edit your post to move the pic out to the far right down under (no not Austraila LOL) the other pics. Sorry for beeing picky... :-)

Love the exhaust. Sweet sled Maxdlx

How the f did you do that?!?!?!! that thing looks great!!!

Was it hard to put the apex side panels, hood etc... on the chassis?

Jake ;)!

its not that hard, you need the Apex front bumper, and the steering gate, everything else bolt at the same place . Sure, some parts dont fit exactly like the Apex, but its, still easy, only long.

Impressive work Tundra :-)

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It turned out sweet! Did use an apex gastank also?

If you have more pics of the installment of the apex parts - please post them.

I have to say it again - just SWEEET!

Yes, Apex Gas tank with fuel pump.

i used Rx-1 frame, except for Steering Gate, and bumper attachement part.

New steering linkage, new Apex windshield.

The thing that didnt fit good is the handwarmer, TORS, stop buttons, back alarm.

I used the stock Rx-1 cooling system.

Drag raced all afternoon saturday with about 1 inch of snow, never overheated.

Fuel as been ajusted for the pipe, sled wouldnt run good, CO adjust to 7.

Still have a lean spot, but its over 7000 rpm, i wont be able to adjust that.

Other problem, Speedo come from a short track, calibration is off. I saw 170 km/h with a 162 x 16 x 2.5, thing that is impossible. I dont know how to change that. I checked with my buddy apex, when he is at 147 km/h wot, am at 153 km/h (but only 3/4 WOT  )

this motor is really strong. Pulling 10800 with 8BU-00 and a good 44-40 helix. Talk about backshift ;)!

I have started collecting parts - so far I only have the D-frame/steering gate.

Would not the steering linkage from the RX-1 fit or were they changed because you bent the subframe and A-arms?
