I pulled my skid today and found alot of bent parts....rails are bent as is the bottom of the transfer rod that goes between the rails. Guess I shouldnt jump it so much
So I am wondering what my options are and what you all think is best....rebuild/replace stock skid or buy an aftermarket? and if after market what do you all recommend...want something that will take a little abuse...at least more than this junk stock one. it aint like I am flying off mountains here is SE MN or the U.P.
also need both front spindle assemblies and internals for them. not sure why the stockers are shot after 2200miles but oh well I guess....

Look at timbersled for the rear and front parts, light weight and strong as.

rails can bend with the timbersled skid as well, a couple well placed shafts will solve the rail bending issue, unless you tail land your jumps.

Remember if your jumping plan ahead and land on a transition not on the flat.
And don't jump if its hard pack, common sence really.
Rails can crack so look out for them along the length.

I have a K-Mod under mine and I've had no issues whatsoever...and I like to jump. It soaks up the big landings with out wincing, does great through the bumps, and keeps the front-end from coming up too high when climbing. I would definitely go with the K-Mod setup again! They are very reasonably priced! I have also added an additional support rod across the rear section of the rails to eliminate any weak points (just in case). I also appreciate how light my rear-end is now. Way easy to throw around. Good luck!!
