Who makes this muffler. price and do they make them for a 09 Apex?

It's a Bender, 8.8lbs and 2hp gain. Definitely louder than stock but not a ear bleeder. Fits perfect. This will not fit the older sleds.

Does this muffler have baffles or more a strait through glass pack, can you see light through it when you hold up to a light? If you did that.

No light when you look through. Very close to the factory design, just more flow.

Much better exhaust design on the new model where the muffler unbolts. Just did a muffler repair on my 07 what a nightmare had to rip entire machine apart to get to the clamps and get it lined up.

Did you have to drop the rear of the skid to install it?

I believe D&D has a muffler with silent choice,like Corsa marine.go from loud to quiet with a flip of the switch or pull a knob. :Rockon:

Did not have to drop the skid. Very easy to change on the new sled. 2 beer job. 300kms on it in the last 2 days. Sounds like a 2 stroke when you get on the gas. I will get a audio clip today and get it on Youtube.

What did the stock muffler weigh ?
