WHOS GOT THE MOST MILES ON THERE NYTRO SO FAR??

Just went over 2000 kms. I bought it new in November 2010!
Nothing up!

5000 Miles so far one Engine rebuild covered by YES. Sled was on it's left hand side and oil leaked into the engine. Not good. Can you say check valve!!! Come on Yamaha! Other than that it has been a great sled!!!

2500 miles two belts

4000 miles on mine, one subframe, balljoints, one belt
5000 miles on my brothers, balljoints, one belt
Both sleds are going to get tore down this summer, new balljoints, bushings, and bearings.

5000 miles on mine and engine runs great.

So far:
Lower ball joints replaced under warranty (1500 miles)
Bent 08 subframe replaced with 09 frame under warranty (1500 miles)
Tunnel heat exchanger added to the inadequate stock cooling system
Exhaust donuts (3000miles)
1 hyfax replacement (3500 miles)
A-arm bushings replaced with Ulmer's (3500 miles)
Bent 09 subframe replaced with updated 2010 frame (reinforcement gussets added)

Before next season:
Upper and lower ball joints
Outer tie rod ends
Spark plugs
Belt

I guess I win. (so far)
:tg:

I knew there must be higher miles out there...
Replaced lower ball joints
Made bronze A arm bushings
Did the upper ball jt mod
Added Yamaha wet left foot fix
Replaced sliders twice
Replaced carbides twice (Bergstrom Triple pts)
Changed exhaust doughnuts
Replaced belt after 5200 mi
Added a temp gauge
Added a manual fan bypass switch
Added Slidekicks scratchers

I also fried a starter motor, but that was my fault not Yamaha's (power supply for temp gauge)

No other problems

3230 miles.
One subframe.
One belt.
Two sets of slides
Three sets of carbides(man do Pilot Skis eat carbides on marginal snow)
215 gal of gas
One oil change

A whole lot of fun

What's up with all these ball joints and subframes. What exactly is a subframe. I am used to tunnel, bulkhead, etc... Either way, why do they need replacing.
