apex keeps stalling

I have an 07 apex gt with an excell exhaust and ram air. It keeps wanting to stall especially when it warms up and after long high speed runs. Thought it might be the throttle position sensor so I changed that but still doing it. Tried turning the idle speed up but still didn't help. I have a pcv and found that if I remove a fair bit of fuel at idle it helps a bit but doesn't cure the problem. Any ideas would be great. Also fuel is fresh and just finished running a tank with a can of seafoam in it.
 
Had an issue with mine where the check valve on the return to the tank was blocked forcing too much fuel through injectors and stalling out the motor especially when warm. To check I pulled the line of and placed in a jug to see if it ran better.
 
It's where the hose connects to the gas tank next to the coolant bottle. Not the one under the seat.
 
Mine is going the same thing. What Do I have to do> put the hose that goes to the fuel rail? I had the tank off before the winter. Do you think there is somthing clogged in there?

What did you do to fix this. After high speed runs I get it back to let it Idle for a bit before I shut it down and it stalls out.

Please advise
 
I can't say for sure this is your problem but worth checking it out. On the chaincasae side of your sled there is a fuel line coming from the fuel rail going to the tank. This line is a fuel return liine. The line runs very close to the coolant bottle. The fitting that is attached to the tank where the line attaches is actually a check valve. Mine had crud/dirt in it and was not allowing fuel to return to the tank. The apex has an open loop fuel injection system so any unused fuel goes through this line back to the tank. If it can't return to the tank it causes your motor to run rich and stall out when idling. If you take this line off and turn your key on you should see a nice steady stream of fuel coming out this line (place line in a bottle). Now take the check valve off the tank, and hook the fuel line back up. If you don't see the same nice flow of fuel then its partially blocked. Hope this helps.
 
Did this cure the problem for any of you guys?? I'm about ready to tear mine apart and give this procedure a try!!!

If nothing else amiss or codes leading you elsewhere, would def get valves adjusted. This is the mileage my buds sled started acting up, surprising how far out of spec the valves were, esp exhaust valves.

Must take quite a bit of work to get to the valves eh lol

I haven't dove that deep into it personally, but my bud and his friend a Yamaha mechanic did his, and I think it was an adventure. Maybe best to take it to a decent mechanic that can follow a service manual or has done it before.
 
An easy thing to check is the intake boots .
Sometimes the intake boots dont seat correctly or slide off.
Only takes 1 boot loose to cause an issue.
