Maybe this has already been mentioned, but, I found this polishing tool at Harbor Frieght tonight. It works great and was cheap too. $36 for the pnuematic tool and the foam polishing heads. I did my tunnel in a little over an hour.

I'll bet 5-bucks that you can't polish the tunnel on my sled in less than an hour.

LOL now you are thinking!

polishing

mothers and elbow greese.............

I used both the Mothers and the polishing kit and my initial thought is that the buffing kit gets you there quicker and takes out more scratches but the Mothers still seemed to bring the shine up another notch after buffing. The buffing kit does have 5 different grits to choose from too but I think black does well on its own and if you want to go over it again go with the white. It also has a lot more shapes and sizes of buffing pads and it's nice to use them in a little die grinder to get into tight spots. I'm going to do another test starting in a new area (maybe the belt cover?) to get more comparable results.

I just used this stuff I got a the snow show in Wausau. Worked awesome and was very surprised it worked as well as it did. Not bad for $20.
