looks good , is that seat going to be alright like that rubbing the tank tho?

It dosn't rub, sits into the trimmed cover quite well. The seat is supported in all the same places underneath.

how does that thing steer it almost looks like it might steer hard because of the width , I know it probally has hardly any tippyness but wondering if its awkward at times to actually get it thru the corners??? Does it take more muscle to turn it?bjowett said:Another not so good picture of my Rage... almost done with this seasons mods. Just a little cleaning up and trim remains.

Actually, right now it is the opposite of what you are thinking. The steering is quite light... no issues there, but it is a bit tippy right now... The stock 10mm swaybar is still in there, and the Expert X is cranked up all the way up, it is sitting WAY too tall. A 12mm swaybar, some tweaking of the compression and rebound damper adjustments, drop the back... it'll will be good in the twisties again. Bump performance is sweet!

what exhaust is that? that looks great!
The exhaust is a one off piece I built from a couple of carbon fiber and stainless steel Borla Motorcycle mufflers.
An earlier picture of it.

were did you get that long travel front end and shocks!!
The front arms are MPI 45" wide pieces and use the longer 17.5" RX-1 shocks on the RS chassis, this gives most of the travel increase. The remaining comes from the 18"+ Fox Float shocks which are spec'd for the Cat Sno Pros. They are available on ebay in NTO form for around $600usd.
I sent you a pm on some info. I may be intrested in doing what you have done, just to get a better float in the fluff. I would prefer to keep it as narrow as stock if you have any suggestions as to which way I should go it would be of great help, as this is my first Yamaha since 88.
I do love the 4-stroke power for what I do, OFFTRAIL!!!
Just need to get the front to float alittle bit better for my likings, I don't like to DIG. The reverse helps alittle but not as much as keeping the front near the top of the snow not on the ground.LOL
I also trail rid eto my play locations and when I get a chance to just ride with friends and family.
