I need to get new carbides for my Simmon's skis and figured I should ask the best. Any recommendations?

Deeks, try searching on Simmons and you find lots of good info on this topic. Doolies, shaper bars, Bergstrom Triple points, etc, they have all been used by various members to different levels of satisfaction.
Some used 4" carbides all around, some used 6" carbides, and some people used a combination of 4" and 6" carbides. There was a recent thread on this topic.
Bottom line from my experience, the inside carbide is the one to focus on because it is used when turning. You don't need to spend the extra money on the outside carbide so just use any standard one.

Check out Bergstrom Skegs and decide for yourself. These skegs are awesome.

Thanks for the info! Can the Simmons skis be shimmed? The stock carbides wore down quickly in the front.

I was looking for the stud boy shapers but didn't find anything for the simmons skis. Looks like it might be the bergstrom's!
