What is the fastest and easiest way to get a mountain sled out? The sled high life jack or the sno-bungey strap kit. Untill now I'd always used a shovel to get out. I've heard good thigns about both products. Which one should a guy be looking at?

I use all three items on every trip. That each have there place and the condition of the stuck determines what tool to use. If I'm getting someone else out and can get in front of them I almost always use my sno-bunjie because with a 162x16 I can get to them, hook-up and pull them out with out me getting stuck about 80% of the time. If I cant get to the front I will use the sled jack. If its tight in the trees I use the jack and then shovel or kick the trench back in with snow. If I'm stuck -this dont happen very often ;) - then I almost always get the jack out first. But, if I stick it hill climbing the jack dont work real well and then I use the shovel. So......they all work great, but the jack is the biggest back saver and biggest time saver on the bad stucks. Eric

I also run all 3 tools....the only thing i don't have however is the straps and pulling mechanisims for snobunje to attach to....the jack works SLICK in every situationk i've encountered...I will agree that the jack on steep slopes is tough...but it does get the #*$&@ end out of the sno just enough to get it pushed into fresh fluff to help level it out and then drag the front end around/down hill...

Bottom Line........the jack is worth EVERY RED CENT you would spend...The guy who makes them is one SMART man...and he builds EXTREME QUALITY stuff...If you ever have a problem with it..call him up and he will bend over backwards to make it better or right with you....Bill Harmon is a sledding GOD......

In the deep snow we just push them over, that is the quickest.

If you can push over a trenched in 162 4-stroke you are one hell of man. I know when I stick my sled I cant even break the track loose by lifting the rear. Eric

Shovel seems to work best when stuck in the really steep stuff. Never seen one of them bungees in person. I would put the snow bungee in the same catagory as the moped and fat(emmmmm large) chicks. You know what I mean ..............lol

Bill has been trying to get me to use his jack for the past few years and i was not sure if it was worth the $. Looked like to much of a pain in the butt to use. plus i was sold on the bungy. Last season he gave me one to try and said if i didnt like it he would buy it back. The jack is the only way to go!!!!! saves energy for riding not waisting it on digging, lifting and pulling. takes a little bit of use to get the hang of it. once you figure it out, it is by far the fastest and easiest way. you can get your sled out by YOURSELF before your buddies can even find you. stop lifting, digging and pulling, and start jacking! for those of you who like the bungy but would like something smaller, bill makes a product that works in the same way but is small enough to fit in your pocket.

who is "BILL"? Does he have a website?
Would like to pick up a snobungie strap but if there is a smaller version that would be good.
