I just want to make sure before ordering new ext. driveres. The rx-1 mountain 2003 mod driveshaft is 27mm or 1 1/16" - right?

You are correct. 1 1/16" or 1.060" as some people call it. 1" drivers will press on as well with no problems. Some of the turbo guys (me included) have done that to get a tighter fit. Where are you located in Norway?

Yes I live in northern Norway in a small town called Kirkenes. If you look on a map it's located about 7 km from the Russian borderline.

TT, It seems like all the Norwegian sledders on this forum are from the northern portion of Norway. Is snowmobiling illegal in the south?

That's right -most of the sledders on the forum from Norway are from the nothern part of the country. It's only in the the nothern two states that snowmobiling is legal. There are some other states that snowmobiling is possible, but very restricted. So there is a lot of people that live in the southern part of Norway that do their snowmobiling in Sweden
