Phazer does 88mph at Shootout!!

Couldn`t believe it but I`d swear the announcer said the Phazer did
88 mph on its second run at the Shootout! :Rockon:

FX -Khaki panels and yellow springs.
They drove this FX over from the Yamaha demo sled display and made a run.
Yamaha didn`t let anybody have a demo ride due to not enough snow.There seemed to be just barley enough for a few rides at least.

Think you must have heard wrong

88mph would have been a such impressing result for the fx that I think if it was right if would have been posted on snowgoer web site.

I have a fx with 250 km on it so I'm still breaking in but my toughts are that there is no way this sled can perform like that stock.

I have seen 80+ mph a couple of times on the dreamometer and it performs just like I tought a 80 hp 4-stroke sled from yamaha would do.

Reading some of the postsing on this phazer about how it perform makes me wonder if there is something wrong with all the phazers in my area.. Seems like they all are missing 30-40hp :ORC

88 mph was also posted on HCS before I posted.

Phazer was NOT part of the official program so it won`t have times and speed posted allover on websites.

Snowgoer??IMO Read it at the news stand and buy it on the rare occasion there is something interesting inside.

if that phazer fx is hitting 88 m.p.h. in 1/4 mile, that will be awesome, fast enough for a 500 cc

I'd believe it,
I got my mtn lite up to about 50 in 150yards at 10,000feet.
ran out of room, we don't have as much flat stuff to drag race.

So with the difference in Alt, and stock gearing differences
its doable...
Didn't someone hit 91 this summer on asphalt?

We just got back from Rib Lake on our Phazer FX, my son did 93 mph and I was hitting 87 and 88 all day on the radar gun. The speedo was showing 102 at 93 and around 96 on those other runs... more info for you guys. Enjoy!!!

how many miles on it? any mod's done to it or is it stock?

BONE STOCK ;)!

Had around 30 miles on it and it reached the faster speeds when we put more miles on, 101 when we left the lake.

There was 2 others that were seeing those MPHs *FX & GT) as well , Had a GT doing 91 ish with around the same MPH

so the fx is faster than the gt top end, i think you were running 72 stud's, how did it hook up?
