I just broke my stock 10 mm sway bar this weekend . :o| The good news is I am going to get a bigger one :-o can someone give me the advantages and disadvantage between the 12and 13 mm sway bar.

Well, the advantages are that they are stiffer and result in less body roll. The choice is by preference - the 13mm bar gives a slightly more harsh ride when you hit off-side bumps, but less body roll.

You will also need 04-07 links and bushings.

For your information, 03 stock sway bar was 10mm and was upgraded to 11mm starting with 04 models. Many people installed the 11mm sway bar on their 03 models.

In terms of 12mm vs. 13mm, most riders have opted for the 12mm when upgrading but a few have gone with the 13mm. You should probably read this thread on guys that have used the 13mm sway bar.

Thanks for the responses. I ordered the 13mm sway bar & longer links . Just recieved them today and have them installed. Iwill try them out this saturday when I go up to Hurley hope I like it. :jump:

The 13 mm sway bar was awesome one of the best mods done on the sled between the apex seat, edge suspension, and sway bar this thing handles great. :-o :-o :-o   :jump: To bad it only took me 3yrs and hundreds and hundreds of dollars to get the sled to handle and ride like it should of from the factory. :o| :o| :o|

The 04's already have the needed links.. the 03s need the 04 links..

You can get the bushing and links from the dealer for a 2004 rx-1..

THe bar can be purchased from Pioneerperformanc.net
