Thinking about stretching the 07 RTX to a 136" this fall. I was thinking Tracksusa rail extensions with gade-thrashers tunnel extension and a 1.5" Intense track. Anybody have this setup? Are there any huge disadvantages to stretching a sled? The only thing I'm undecided on is the track, I want a fully clipped track with anti ratchet's and camplast doesnt make a fully clipped intense. What are other good tracks? Thanks

I stretched a Viper to 136" using the tracks USA extensions....I had a fully clipped 1.25" Camoplast "Predator" track no complaints.
I found no disatdvantages with the extension..smoothed out the ride over the stutter bumps, track hookup was excellent.
I would do it again...

number1kyster my brother has some tracks usa rail extensions 121to136" with about 800 miles on them if your interested pm me.
No diadvantages I can think of I have stretched a few sleds. The 1 1/4" predator six pitch is a great track also.

I was going down the predator road, but changed mty mind and ordered a 1.5 Intense 136" with a Hartman extension kit through Rich Motorsports. Should be a good ride.

I would love the intense but I really want a fully clipped track so I can run doo drivers.

You don't really need to have a fully clipped track to run the extro drivers - just all windows open. I'm running a 1.5" ripsaw with all windows open, and clipped every 3rd with the Doo extro drivers ... 1400 miles and no problems.

Did you cut the windows out or did it come like that?

My track came like that when I bought it. But if they are closed, you can easily do it yourself with a razor blade, or utility knife. It takes a while, but not that hard.

if you get a piece of 1 inch square tubing and sharpen it on the one end it will take the windows out no problem. Maxdlx

Any idea how much top end loss with a 1.5" track?

I am doing a new '07 RTX that I have never road. Almost talked myself into going to the 144, but decided to keep it down to the 136!!!

Gade-thrasher powder coated BLACK to match the tunnel extension $140
Mountain performance rear grab bar $55
Track-usa extension $163.00
Track $250 6 pitch 1-1/4x15x136 Preditor NEW
Equals $608 - $275 from selling my track without studs and I keeping the new studs giving me a new balance of $333...wait + $26 in additional studs giving me a

GRAND TOTAL OF = $359.00

I will post pictures as soon as I am done.

Where did you find that deal on a track? If there are more ill take one!
