Last week, we were coming back from a 250 miles run. Running 95 mph on the lake, the gas jammed. I noticed something was wrong, then the TORS system engaged, light start flashing.....Did that a few time, then it correct itself. A bit later, I couldn't steer anymore, had to put lots of pressure to make it turn. At the restaurant, I openned the side panel, all the steering was pack of ice! Remove all the ice that I could. Did the remaining 30 miles with difficuty, but made it home.

Tonite, I started the 12k miles oil & Filter maintenance and find that both front boots are half undone which is the reason why snow got in there. Nothing seem broken, it's just look like boot jump out of the clip. Not sure how I will put it back yet.

Anyone had that problem?

yes

Yeah I've had this happen and Yellowknife has had similar problems in -30 and colder, actually froze up on his Phazer and he was unable to steer, I see this more with the a-arm skid plates, packs the snow and ice around the boots and creates problems, I'm going to remove them before the next ride.
