One week from tonight on Friday February 8th at 3am eastern.....yamaha USA will unveil a New 09 on their website....
should be interesting...

Does it mean one new model?

Yep,
Can't wait to see the 2009's!
From now till then, it's anticipation.
After next week, it'll be frustration!
Why didn't they do this?
Why didn't they do that?
Maybe one new model,
but it won't be a new top end sled.
A bunch of refinements and improvements
to the existing sleds, like longer tracks. |

| i hope they redo the venture onto something like a apex chassis, im in the market for a 2 up but dont like the ventures sit down riding position |

Ya..it's the same every year....all the build up and Friday comes and half the guys will be "Why'd they mount the intercooler THAT way" Or "I would have used an IHI turbo instead of the garret"...you can't please anyone on the internet. :)

Improvement list.
Better stock skis.
Long track option for nytro.
Bigger gas tank for said nytro.
Lighter and more hp for gen II sleds.
Maybe FI for vector.. All though my carbs are working great on mine.
Wind protection.
Hand warmers that work as good as my vectors do.
New list.
A 120 kids sled..... Come on yammie get those kids started right.
Top of the line two-up.. Make cat and doo shutter.
A real top of the line model that will cruise the trails great and be the first one across the lake. (can you say Turbo).
Feel free to add your dream list of 09. MM. |

I hope not. I would consider that a mistake unless they replace it with some no more extreme rider forward. We don't need another FX chassis sled. |
