Some of you might find this handy:

The attached page from the Phazer service manual illustrates the method to adjust the stabilizer bar on the GT, Venture Lite and MP models.

Sleddersteve, any recommendations for starting point on the stabilizer adjustment. Just added a 2007 phazer GT to the Yamaha fleet and am going through things and doing set up.

This is one of those "I wish I knew about this last year" things but I wasn't smart enough to figure it out until I got the manual during the off season.

My objective is to make the sled corner flatter so I'm going to go from the stock "medium" setting to full forward and see how it works.

It's a relatively easy adjustment now that I know how so I'll play with it once we get riding again.

Wow, I had no idea this was adjustable. This is a great feature the dealers should have been talking about. I'm going for the full stiff set up as well.

So what should this adjustment do for the handling? I have the 08 VL and checked it today and it was already set to the full forward position as purchased.

Thanks

The VL won't benefit from this adjustment unless you want the skis to act more independently which is better for off camber bumps but not so good for smooth trail cornering.
