I bought a BOSS seat last winter from a not so reputable person , and it turned out it didnt have provisions to install the rear light for my 121" Apex RTX.
I want a higher seat as mine sags a little too much for my liking.
Anybody make one that WILL fit and accept the rear light.???

Pics? do you have any of the current seat? If you already have the seat it may be worth it to just mod it or relocate/fab a new one.

My experience with the Mountain Mod seat was very good. All I had to do was transfer the mounting hardware and the taillight from the old seat to the new one.

This seat was the Apex one, however I used it on my Vector.

So they do work???
I spoke with him but he wasnt sure if it would fit or not.

I really can't answer whether it will work with the taillight assembly on the Apexes. To me, it wouldn't make sense to fabricate a seat specifically for the Apexes and not be able to mount the taillight assembly, but then work for the older Deltabox chassis. :dunno:

I think you'd get a better response from someone who owns an Apex and the Mountain Mod seat, sorry.

whats the under side of the seat look like??? does the exhaust dump under the seat???

Got my seat today and went up and installed it right away.
Great fit and finish.
All the mounts for tail light are there and worked great.
I sat on it after mounting and man Im gonna love riding this sled more than ever.
Word of advice want a seat that fits and is a high quality and fast delivery , MOUNTAIN MOD SEATS.

Thanks Grimm it was you who made the sale.

Yes I know sled is filthy dirty.
Need snow to clean it.

Is it more firm than the stocker? I would imagine it is. Looks great!
