Here's an easy way to power up a heated visor without tapping into the OEM wiring. Credit to NytroXTX for sourcing this.

12v-RCA adapter

No problem, I figured there would be more people looking for this adapter, so when I saw JR Graham carried one, I thought I'd pass the info onto fellow TY riders.

I used mine for the first time today. Worked great!

So, coming off of an '04 Viper S, the XTX is going to take some getting used to.

Likes:
-Awesome torque, pulls strong all the way up
-great seating position

Dislikes:
-stock windshield (aka gauge cover) looks great, but blocks 0 wind
-the stock skis absolutely suck.....period.

I knew even before riding it, the windshield, or lack of, would eventually need to be replace. But I had no idea how bad the skis would be. It pushes like crazy. This morning I sucked the front limiter straps up 2 notches. It definitely helped, but it still pushes.

The handwarmes did ok. Even my Viper ones were weak compared to my SX-R....now those babies you can fry eggs on!

You aren't running the stock carbides are you? You will need to get some agressive (tall) carbides like studboy shapers with 6 inches of carbide. With the limiter strap pulled up and the new carbides, it should carve corneres pretty easily. The stock carbides are pencil thin and only 2 inches of tiny carbide. Pretty worthless.
