Thanks for the tips and sorry you had to go thru all that. You would think that when you spend that much cash on parts that it would all go together effortlessly. May not be worth the headache for some!!
 
Its the price we pay going aftermarket but its simple enough to do this if you know beforehand. I had no idea that Alan Ulmer was supplying these y pipes though and whilst reasearching after the fact looked at these and they appear to be correct and are bevelled. Just my luck!
 
Just did mine and had problem with the front allen head bolts. They were rusty and stripped out. Had to drill and easy out it. Replaced with 14mm head bolt. Shouldn't not have that prob again.
 
I copper anti seize coated all of the exhaust fittings during the first stripdown and repeat the coatings each time I rebuild. That way everything comes apart very easily. Copious amounts applied !!!
