I have a Sno Scoot now that my 6 year old is having a blast on. I have a chance to get a sno sport in mint condition. I know the obvious differences but since the sport is 6-7 hours away I can't do a physical size comparison. I wouldn't want to get it if it is too big for him and ruin his winter. Does anyone here have a rough idea how they compare in physical size. Here is a pic of my son on his scoot to give an idea of his size. Unfortunatly I can't keep both.

The Sno Sport was slightly larger in size and had a larger windshield fairing. The biggest difference I remember was that the Sno Sport was a 120cc engine versus the 80cc Sno Scoot. Here is a large picture of a Sno Sport with a child that looks to be a little taller than your son.

I've seen pics and a couple of years ago I alsmost bought one. Not worried about the extra power. That can be limited if needed. I just want to find the actual difference in ride height. In the pic I have it does look a little higher. I just want to be sure he will fit on it. If I sell the Scoot and get the sport and he is too small I will have one very unhappy boy.

I have a scoot and a sport. My son is 7, and probably very close to your sons size. Your son can definitely fit on the sport, and it will take him longer to grow out of it. However, my son prefers the scoot. It seems to be a smoother running and softer riding sled. The sport seems to vibrate a little and rides rougher. I'm sure I could try to soften up the suspension, but I mostly ride it when we're messing around in the yard. If you see the 2 sleds apart, they look the same size, but put them togrther and the sport is definitely bigger. Hope this helps! Bill

Thanks Guys. I made the deal on the sport today. Now I just have to drive 7 hours on Saturday to get it.

I'll never admit anything. My son won't let me ride it anyway. He says if He can't drive mine then I can't drive his.

Well then let the young lad drive yours! What's the worst that can happen with a 6 year old taking control of a 150hp sled?? :drink:
