Nice choice, my uncle just put those on his phazer. We trail rode them this past weekend, they work excellent. You'll be happy.

Sweet. I almost went with C&A Pro, but I heard the Slydogs can flex big time, and the were $100 cheaper. KJ Motorsports has a deal on now where you get FREE 6" carbides with C&A's.

Sounds like you couldn't go wrong. The c&a "ad" model we tried did good.(little push in loose snow.) I think "adx", or "razors" would be great. I love my usi spx as well. Sly dogs are very comparable to my usi. Enjoy your new slydogs.

Got a spankin new engine today. 2 weeks without my sled has been hard, especially since we've gotten more snow than we have in 20 years. Can't wait to break her in hard! I bought this 07 in late January and so far have the following items replaced: Ball joints, tie rods, A-arm bushings, Needle bearings in the steering column, ECU, Decompression spring, Starter, Battery, Rear suspension linkage and associated arms and wheels, headlight pod, belt update and complete engine. All covered by extended warranty. I don't know how much all that work is worth, but its safe to say Yamaha never made a dime off this FX.

Holy crap, I guess not. I hope mine holds together as I have no warranty. Have fun breaking her in, keep us posted.Ruckus said:Got a spankin new engine today. 2 weeks without my sled has been hard, especially since we've gotten more snow than we have in 20 years. Ha! Oh well, its a new sled now. I'm installing the tunnel inclosure and heat shielding, the front skid, 1.5" Bullseyes and a polished Cobra F1R pipe that I got for 40 bucks. I took the pipe apart and repacked it and spent a couple of hours polishing it. I also painted my rear plastics gloss beiges like the front ones. Now I just need those skis...

I've got about 150km logged on the new skis and they are awesome. I have the limiter strap all the way down so the pressure is on the track. It needs to be bumped up one hole yet, but wow! The sled is actually a pleasure to ride now. They are lighter, more flexible, wider and more agressive than stock without being squirrelly. I highly recommend these skis. Totally different sled.

Great to hear. Now don't you wish you would have ditched your stock ski's along time ago? Now put both ski spacers on one side of the spindles and it will turn even better. I wish more phazer owners would go with aftermarket skis, and the schmidt bros sway bar the difference in handling is phenominal. These things can rail with some set up, and a few upgrades.

I thought you were kidding about getting a new engine! What happened to the old one?
BTW, does the reverse work any better with the belt update? Mine is worse now than before - only engages about 50% of the time and hardly ever if on any slight incline/decline. I'm actually reluctant to put in reverse when there's people around because it is embarrassing to have to get off and shake the rear - necessary because the wife is on the back and not trained well yet for this reverse manoeuver.
