I have been a faithful Yamaha rider for over 30 years and I have always ridden stock sleds. That was until I came across TY about a year or so ago. The information on this site is awsome and wouldn't have done this project without the knowledge learned here. The only negative is the amount of $$$ it is costing me.

These are the mods I am in the process of doing in addition to the ones already listed in my signature from last year:

OFT Rail Extensions
Hatman Tunnel Extension
136" Cobra track
Wahl Extroverts
(2) additional sets of Idlers with spoked style wheels
Spoked style rear wheels
Hygear Torsion Spring Spacer
Ulmer Adj. Transfer Blocks
WRP Mountain Assault 2 Seat
Homemade Tunnel Closure
Dupont Teflon Spray in tunnel
RVinyl Tunnel Wrap
Mo Flow Hood and Round Side Vents
Muffinworks A-Arm Protectors
Ulmer Front End Bushing Kit
OFT Steering Relocator
Powder Coated A-arms/Knuckles
RKA Eng Shock resis
Drag n fly clutch weights
RSI Heaters on top of stock warmers (arteex)
DDM HID 55W Light Kit
LED Exhaust Tip
Painted Rear Plastic
Custom Saddlebag Rack

I will post pics as I go. I am open to any comments/suggestions.

The tunnel wrap looks pretty sweet. Where did you get it from? G.B.

{The tunnel wrap looks pretty sweet. Where did you get it from? G.B.}

It is just a carbon fiber vinyl wrap that is mostly used on cars. I thought about using the black but decided go with the silver. Here is a link to what I used.

It is a very time consuming process. I had to remove all rivets to get it to look nice. I sure hope it holds up to all of the cold, snow, and ice.

{Do you ride around the MSP area?}

Unfortunately, the snow hasn't been very good around the metro area. Typically ride in northern WI or MN. Western WI is really nice as well when there is snow.

Cool Stuff. Keep us posted how that material holds up. I sure hope it does because of the amount of work you went thru to put it on. G.B.

Beautiful job so far Ralger! Keep us updated throughout the project!

Installed the RSI heaters over the top of the stock grips. Used 3M spray adhesive and then installed shrink fabric. No more cold hands!

Also got the OFT relocater installed. Should work great.

Looking awesome ;)!

I want to know how much time you had in that vinyl wrap. Looks like there was a lot of work with the exacto knife. Looks very cool, nice job.

Keep up the good work ralger

The actual time to apply the the vinyl is about an hour per side. There was alot more time involved to remove the rivets, clean, and reintall the rivets. I don't think I want to know how many hours I have into it.

Here are pics of the other side I jsut completed.

I installed a $6.99 aux. plug from Radio Shack. The dia. was too small so I made some modifications to the mounting plate that came with it and installed.

Installed the DDM light kit. Can't get much easier to install. Biggest challenge will be getting all of the wires tucked out of the way.
