I was out riding yesterday, shut my powderlites turbo nytro off to help my wife get her sled through a rough spot ( the groomer had open up some water so you had to go around it) and when I came back to start mine it would not start, low fuel presure. You could here the pump but it only had 15psi. I towed it 3 miles out to the road to pick up with trailer. I clicked it on the pump got presure and ran fine the rest of the day. I'm not sure if I got an air lock or there is a problem with pump or pick up. Any thoughts? Thanks

You need to wrap the fuel line. The radiator gets the fuel line to hot and it boils so no gas goes to the pump so fuel pressure gauge will be low.

nytrochris - Do what Hurricane says, more fuel flow thru your throttle bodies will help in keeping fuel from getting too hot and boiling.

I had the fuel boil issue last year. I purchased the kit from Dave at Hurricane Performance and I have not had a problem since!!

Thanks Dave!!

What is the kit from Hurricane doing? I have had this happen a few times. I have a MPI stage 1 with a stage 2 fuel system upgrade. It has a bypass going back to the tank that is controlled by boost pres. What is Hurricanes bypass? Thanks for any info. And how many guys with Nytro's are having this problem?

Do you guys think I'm having the same problem?

Went out this weekend, a/f was good till I got hard on the boost then I was peaking around 13.5 ish at wot,
though it jumps higher at times

Seem to have this problem every couple trips.
My fuel pressure is solid.
ambient temps were warm around +2 C

Yea i and Dave found this problem. With my Nytro AFRs would go lean a few times. When under hood temps were very high.

I was able to install it with out taking much apart. I had to remove the charge tube and the hood and side covers that was it. It works. I don't think A/F at high rpms is affected by fuel boiling at those throttle opening your moving enough fuel to keep from boiling.
