so i picked up a ski-doo jerry can for a heck of a deal today (70$) , for the rest of the day i installed it onto my machine .

1.

i started by placing the bottom plastic hold downs on the tank and measuring up the pieces , eye to eye the holes were 11"

2. turned out there were two rivets right on the rear brace that were exactly 11" apart so i proceeded to drill them out .

3. i bolted them down with the provided fasteners at the front . squared them up and then drilled two holes and bolted down the back .

4. i put the side brackets an inch forward of the first rivet on the tunnel extension . using the supplied black rivets not the silver ones .

i was even able to jam my spare shovel in the handle of the jerry can , it fit in very secure .

of course none of this works unless you have an in tunnel exhaust with the top blocked off . fortunately i do have such a thing .

I hope this was helpfull to some one , im more then satisfied with this setup , all and all it holds 3 gallons and is quite small . it is secured extremely well and personally looks the best compared to any other can .
