i just sold my phazer to a guy and everything was good, he just called me and said when he got it home ( 3.5 hr drive ) he went to take it off the truck and it would not start. He said the pod lights up but sounds like the selenoid is just clicking not engaging the starter. I have not had this problem before. any ideas what to look for here. I told him to check the Battery connections as i had washed it earlier in the day and maybe something got wet? I really don't want this to be a hassle for him as i told him it has been a very reliable sled ,which it has . any help would be appreciated.

1. check the relays.
2. starter bolts are loose or have come out
Both of these issues are well documented in this forum.

I have this happening to me right now like mooseman said it's the relays. I take the side cover off and mess with it and it will start up, but sometimes it takes a little while. I have herd about the starter bolts braking also but I don't know how it reacts. So it could be that as well but it sounds like the relays. I hope this helps!!!

The guy called me back and said once he got it inside something popped and it started right up , He said he he had -17c temps going home and i think it was frozen solid ( I had washed it that day) he said when he was pulling it inside ,the track wouldn't even turn.So ya , I am pretty sure it was frozen solid.

I hauled mine from the dealership brand new,-10f, to the gas station, filled it up, and 30 miles to a friends to ride, it would turn over but no fire. Put a heater to the front end and it finally took off after 20 minutes.
