I'm getting a Holtzman system. Why?? Barry Holtzman is one of smartest guys I've ever spoken to. I think his nozzle design along with the fuel jets he uses are the best setup on the market!!!
Curt From CCPerformance is getting it for me. Call him if your interested

Thinking about it , just trying to figure best setup that will work with the mc xpress kit. What gains will I see/can I set it up to only work on bottom or top end or both. Really need to do some homework on this one.

I have the Nitrous Express system and like the way it works. It does have a heater controlled by the bottle pressure not the temp.I just use a 36 hp shot without changing clutching and get a big performance gain.

I have Nitrous Oxide Systems on the 03 RX1, and I hate warming the bottle all the time. When I heard Barry's kit can run a bottle cold......I was all for that! So I put Barry's kit on the 05 RX1.
Which is faster............They both are!!!!!!!!

Without a heater doesn't the amount of horsepower drop each time you use it as the bottle gets colder? The mixture stays the same I understand but power should drop.

I don thave one, but have researched and think that the BOSS is the safest best one.

Boss Noss has solved the heated bottle dilema. You flat out dont need it. Boss Noss is regulated and pressure doesnt affect it. You will get the same hit each time you hit the button until the bottle is down to the last 10%. Then you can shut off the fuel jets and get about 5 hits of noss air for about a 10 hp gain.
I make smokin deals to forum members on Boss Noss kits if anyone is interested. I am good friends with the owner of Boss and am very familiar with this kit.

Barry's nozzle adjusts with pressure, so it stays the same pressure from 10° to 80°. This makes for more consistant 1/4 mile times if your drag racing like me on asphalt.

I'd be very cautios about NOS and heaters, something fails it aint pretty
I wonder if a crash wouldn't set em off too
here is one picture I found, luckily this one was just parked in a garage when it went.

asrx600guy - I have had many bottles blow the pressure disc, and I can't believe a nitrous bottle would do this damage.
1st) Nitrous is not flammable
2nd) ALL Known Nitrous Company nitrous tanks and bottles have pressure discs that blow at 1,350 lbs. to ensure bottle failure.
3rd) If you hook up a bottle heater directly to the battery power, instead of ported thru the fuseblock, you will have the pressure disc blow.
4th) If the pressure disc blows, (and I am known for heating bottles up too much) The difuser has 3 directions of spray, so the bottle will not spin, tumble, or go skyrocketing into another zip code.
I have been running Nitrous on everything for 16 years. This does NOT make me the best, or the king of Nitrous! This is from tru testing, bottle disc failures, and no engine problems!
If this would be that dangerous, I would not want it on anything I ride, race or joyride. My point is: This could have happened from an electrical fire, or puncture of the gas tank, or gas fumes. If the bottle lets go then, I can see where it would add a %^&*(^ of Oxygen & nitrogen to the explosion, but not by itself. And definetly would have never happened if installed correctly, and mouted correctly.
Just because there is a movie called the FAST & FURIUOS, everyone thinks they can outrun police, and hit the button at 180mph. Some things are NOT true!!! I am telling the fact about what I install, and use on a regular basis. (This is not a %^&*( session, just fact!)

The dammage that was caused in that pic was due to a pressure relief valve stuck and the bozo had inadvertantly wired the heater to a live power source and cooked the N02 till it exploded.

I've seen other pictures of NOS explosions too. do an internet search. I'm not saying its common, but it happens.
you will notice the lack of anything being burnt. It's a high pressure vessel, when it goes, it goes in a big way.
think of a 2liter draino bomb, or even a balloon, but way more pressure
I was adding one item to the discussion of wich system was better, I'm not pushing legislation ban NOS. I do all sorts of dangerous things in my life and I don't like people telling me not to, but I want to know what the risks are when I take them, I'm just performing that service to others.
