Where is a good place to get a digital water temperature gauge? Has anyone used a automotive one? Pics? Hope it snows soon, spending to much damn time on this computer!

I just installed an Autometer. Works great. I made my own temp sensor adaptor for 3 bucks. I was not paying $44.99 for one. You will need a 1 inch inside diameter adaptor to mount your temp sensor.

My avatar is where I mounted my analog one..... I found summit racing pretty good to deal with, I also ordered the water line tee from ulmer..... Mine are autometer. In my previous sled I had a cyberdyne digital, it worked fine also.

I mounted mine in the same spot. I got the idea from tvbrian's profile picture

I picked up a digital gauge recently from Ulmer and really spent some time trying to figure out the best place to mount it. There does not seem to be a great place to mount a gauge except using a pod w/ a round gauge which I did not want. I ended up fabricating a mounting plate behind the spedo cluster that I riveted to plastic console. I do not have any pics but I must say it came out pretty sweet!

OK I found this one- http://www.jtatv.com/ATV_and_Snowmobile ... di-100.htm seems to be good but I will buy from Ulmer if he can get me a round digital with red lighting. Or I will use his T and gauge mount with a Autometer 6337. Just one more question what is the ID of the hose?

I would still like to know how to get my sled to run at 160 degrees....

I'm looking into this temp gauge option also.
But I want to mount the sensor lower in the system to get a closer to motor reading.

This spot on the micro fiche says oil cooler.
Why do they call it an oil cooler?
It's hooked right to the cylinder wall.
