Houghton Ride
Day 1
173.9 miles
Jim from Canton, and I rode up to Houghton, 11 hour ride, but we had had pretty good weather conditions.
Great weather, good trails. Nice to see old friends again.
We rode up to Copper Harbor, and made a big loop back around to the hotel. Some rough trails on the way back, but, thats part of early season riding, still a great day.
Day 1
173.9 miles
Jim from Canton, and I rode up to Houghton, 11 hour ride, but we had had pretty good weather conditions.

Houghton Ride
Day 2
132.5 Miles
We rode north again, as they still had not put the mats down on the bridge yet. We still had a great time, and had lunch up in Copper Harbor, like the day before.
One of the guys that rode with us had a big Turbo Cat,had a little cooling problem, lost all his antifreeze, and was towed back to the hotel, by Mike his riding buddy, with a '08 Apex GT, so he was towed in style, you had to be there
Day 2

The mats were still not down on the bridge, so we crossed anyway, no harm to the sleds, and headed south on the last day. Seemed like there was more snow, and the trails were in good shape, and we had a nice ride, had lunch and headed back home. Most of the people had to head back home, and left, so Rock, my partner Jim, Mike, and I went for a ride before calling it a day. We came back alittle after dark and loaded up the sleds, and we all left very early the next morning for the long drive back home.
It was a great TY Ride, as they all are, and wish all of you could have been there.I will see many of you in Munising in a couple of weeks.
I hope everyone has a great and safe Christmas season.

Sunday morning and some of the people had to head back after a breakfast ride to Chatam, and then a small group of us Haeded up to Grand Marais, had dinner, and then headed back to the hotel, loaded up the sleds, and had dinner and drinks , and headed for home monday morning.
Shame on me, was to busy riding and having fun, I forgot to get some pictures of the sunday ride, and we all had a great time, as always.
