the hand warmers on my attack dont seam to get as warm as the older sleds is there anything that can be done to fix this? thanks :4STroke:

Yamaha had an update for this, new bars and a small harness. The updated bars have a different element that extends full length to cover the hooks too. I found a kit for 20 bucks. There is also a product called the Yamaheater. This combo works great.

Keep you 06 bars and get the Yamahheater. Great product and guy to work with.

I have 09 Ltx handwarmers sucked last year. I got the yamaheaters this year. Go with them,I wasted money buying new elements and new grips, nothing worked. Got the yamahaheaters for $175. I can tell the difference immediatley. All I need now is some snow to test them out.

If you're comfortable with wiring you can just rewire to series from parallel. I took the pins out of the connectors with a paper clip and moved the wires because I didn't want to cut/spice. The bars will be HOTT!! afterwards you will never need any setting over 50%. You should have an unused hot and ground lead coming from the main harness when you get done. There was also a harness sub-lead that accomplished the same thing not sure if it is still available.
