We will be using this thread to get information to those members who may be trailering in for the day or riding in from nearby. We will have routes and times when the group will be leaving in the mornings available here,on a dry erase board in Hotel lobby and the information will Resonate at a Meet and greet/Riders meeting we will have each evening. The meeting will be to meet new people and make a decission on where the group will be riding the following day and what time we will be leaving. For those that can not attend the meeting please use this thread or we will have a dry erase board in the lobby of the hotel with the information you may need.
we are only 2 weeks away! I hear the trails are in pretty good shape over there! So, who is in and who is out? We will be there Thursday afternoon and hope to get a ride in for the evening! See you there!

Put 100 miles on today in the area. Trails are great! Chance of a few inches of snow over the next couple days too.

Hey guys, How is the WI DNR as far as aftermarket exhaust go? I put triple pipes on this year and sold my stock pipe. I've heard rumors that they are a bit stricter there than here in MN. Is that true?

As long as the sled isn't crazy loud it shouldn't be a problem. Most of the police around here are sledders themselves and don't care about the noise. And I think right now there is only 1 Warden for the whole area, and if by some slim chance you do meet him, he is usually pretty decent...unless your sled is stupid loud. But you probably won't even see anyone. I haven't been check at all this year yet

On the 12th there are radar runs in Luck, and also some Vintage Oval racing. The Outlaw class of Vintage Ovals is usually pretty action packed, since its all my buddies, and basically a cheating contest. Some of them have actually figured out how to get those old sleds to handle...so I predict higher speeds this year, probably blood and broken bones.
But the trail goes right by the lake that all this is on. Should be a food vendor and stuff out there too.

I was up north this last weekend so I didn't ride around here, but my family did and they said the trails were awesome. Almost perfect.
So it should be some really good riding, although it sounds like its going to be a little warm by saturday/sunday.

Thursday evening you should hit up the Governor Knowles trail. It runs alongside the river, pretty twisty through the woods. Its a fun trail. Would probably be a 100 mile loop from the dallas house. Its a 92 mile loop from my house in milltown.
Take the gandy north to Centuria, then go West on I think 45. Take that to cushing and keep going on it all the way around to grantsburg and back down to cushing. Then go east to luck. Then you'll be on the gandy dancer again, which you can take back to the dallas house.
On a thursday evening it should all be perfectly smooth

We are here. Hotel is pretty nice! a little dated but clean and comfortable! This is our first time in the area and it looks like it will be very scenic! we are waiting to here from exciter89 from the 2 stroke side and then we are going to hit the trails! We are wondering if anyone is planning on being here Thursday so we can plan our leaving time for the Am. Let us know, we hope to see some other members!

I made the loop around the trail I posted above, it was all perfectly smooth. We were some of the first sleds on groomed trails for a lot of it.
I'm probably not gonna make it out with you guys this time, we have a lot of family coming up to ride this weekend, and I can't venture too far from home cause someone has to to be home for chores and milking.
