Had an interesting problem the other day. Was ripping down a lake, heard I high pitched whinning followed by a slapping sound in the driveline. Inspected the tunnel and track, no evidence of hitting anything or having a blockage in the track. Can drive in reverse and no sounds are heard. In drive, the machine will not go past 50km before the whinning returns. As well, the green drive light flashes, and there is slapping in the driveline.
Looked on here for some advice, found that the servo motor or the chaincase tensioner could be to blame. Its minus 32 degrees C outside today so to the shop its going. Just curious if anybody has had this issue. Was completely random.
