I may have steered you wrong on the shims. I was messing with shims to get rid of darting before I installed the snow trackers.

I also have the skid relocate without the 4 " extension though. One thing I forgot is I have also done the upper ball joint mod

set toe in at zero flip ski rubbers around or if you already have add 1/4 shims to rear of mount I have fox air shocks and run them at 60 pounds crank more spring compression into center shock to transfer weight from skis to skid I also removed the transfer blocks on mine I have the compression...

I spent a lot of time and money trying to fix the heavy steering and darting. just bite the bullet and buy the snowtackers. zero darting and it feels like power steering was installed

I would think that should be plenty. You have it being reinforced on two edges plus bolting in the skid will also fix it in place. Mine is the older style

I chased the heavy steering on mine for 3 years .Have the OFT. Tried woody's duelies,nope .Tuners with different carbides ,nope .Relocated the skid,helped the ride but did notthing for the heavy steering.I put Snow trackers on as a last resort before I gave up on it.Can not believe how hanging...

I did the 128 relocate with the Ripsaw II.I like it fine for mostly trail riding.Don't forget to upgrade your drivers as long as your in there.
