no im not joking....doo's exhaust is better(no ice build up and you can put gas or luggage on the back without a goofy adapter to tip the exhaust out of the way),gas tank is better as it runs the length of the tunnel..sure you can get a larger tank for the nytro but the nytro is top heavy to...
i totally dis-agree...one of the worst features of my nytro was the rear exhaust...tunnell full and i mean full of ice all the time...melted many gas jugs also,doesnt help the nytro has a piddly gas tank...yammie needs to pull their head out,their line-up offers nothing vs the 1200doo and m1100t...
good chance its the bushings,i really like my nytro as well,but after having the dealer look at my sled cause one shock sits further back with nothing bent at all..its been tripple checked and its frustrating..with nothing said from yamaha.and 10 changes on the 09 front end.i say talk with your...
they are a bear to turn on hard pack,i did the flip the rubber and shimmed 3/8 and it helped,i put pilots on and the steering effort on hard pack is 1000% less...no b.s....but gen2's are simply amazing in powder...they are a pure powder ski..
in the manual there is no specific measurement..it says to loosen the nut above and below the shift rod...then to turn the shift rod(in the direction where it can be shortened)till there is no play...the turn shift rod back 1/2 turn and tighten jam nuts...i did this and have never had a problem...
