I know mine is not a Vmax 4 but I have a '96 Vmax 600 and I really enjoy getting mine out every once in a while. I really feel that body style Vmax was the meanest looking machine Yamaha ever built. The ride sucks though but it turns heads. My Vmax has 5600 original miles on it and still darn...
I'm gonna start out running 144 and see what happens. If needed I'll add 48 more. With 144 1.450 on my 1.25 ripsaw, with that much penetration I'm thinking should be in good shape.
Congrats! I ordered a new LTX LE also with turbo. I'm having the dealer install OEM skid plates. To me that's a must! I ride in the western U.P. also and all my sleds previously had aftermarket exhausts on them. I'm keeping this one quiet. With 1 trail closure up there in the western U.P. for...
And what did you all order??????? I'll start: 2016 Viper LTX LE in blue and white with MPI turbo. Ulmer Racing doing the turbo install with all the clutch work/gauges/etc. Coming off a '12 Apex. Can't wait!!!!
Yes, basically the same but different engines. The '10 Vector was the first year for fuel injection. Way more smoother than your '05. Apex fuel injected also. What's the prices for the 2 you are looking at??
I had a '10 Vector that I rode for 2 seasons. Traded it in on a '12 Apex. Both great sleds! How much power do you want? That's about the only difference between the 2. My opinion: Apex all the way!!
