    2009 Nytro front End

It's also about 1.5" narrower width. Look up the specs on the Yamaha site and compare a 2008 Nytro RTX to the 09 XTX

    09 prices canada

Not a chance. We all wear raccoon hats and live in igloos; that must mean we're stupid enough to pay 15 grand and not be pissed about it.

    Hyfax wear / Extroverts ??

It's a lot more money than I feel I should have to spend on a brand new sled just to get it to work properly. I already paid about $15,000 for it (I'm Canadian) and to change to extros I would be looking at about $1000 more because I would have to change the track as well. The last thing I want...

    Hyfax wear / Extroverts ??

It's an issue for me. 1250 kms all in good snow conditions and mine were toast. Figure an average season to be 4000km, and you're changing them 3 times a season.

Nice pics. It would be nice to see the Bravo chassis stay the same. Just make a direct bolt-in replacement for the 2 stroke they have now.

    Ultimax XS Belts

Why would you wanna switch anyway? I was told by the dealer I bought my sled from that there's a reason Yamaha designed their own belts. He also says if the clutches get damaged while using a non-OEM belt, they probably won't be covered under warranty.

Hondo and 2005 RS Venture will be in Albany, NY March 13th

That's pretty impressive. No real signs of engine wear at all yet?

    Question for Nytro owners???

Yes and no. I do about 25% of my riding on smooth trails. I wouldn't say I'm impressed by the sit-down functionality but it can be done. Keep in mind it's built for stand-up riding in rough or no-trail conditions.

Getting your moneys worth on aftermarket equipment.

Nope. Says right in the instructions no clutching or tuning needed. But you might want to in order to get the most performance out of the pipe.

    Question for Nytro owners???

Wind protection? What wind protection? You'd have to get the high windshield with side deflectors or else you're out in the cold. I'm not sure about the 2009s, but the 2008s WILL manhandle you when left stock. In my opinion it takes a fair bit of strength just to hang on, especially WOT on...

    1250 kms

I just hit 1250 kms. My first set of slides and every bushing and ball on the front end are toast. And my reverse beeper sounds like it's sick. But other than that, nothing is broke or bent. ;)! I'm just glad I'm not around to ride it. Only been home for 3 weeks this winter. I've NEVER owned...

    100 octane

100 aviation gas is different than 100 automotive, too. They use a different rating scale.
