Hello
I have no compression in the middle cylinder. Haven’t had time to pull it apart yet. Anyone else drop a valve or blow a piston?
Also doesn’t anyone have the torque specs for the engine? Will also need to know the timing marks after I pull the head off if anyone has that info.
Thanks
I would not run studs without tunnel protectors. I think they will rip the pipe apart. That track has some pretty good force on it at 100 mph. I always run studs and have always put in tunnel protectors. Why don't you pu the stock ones back in?
If you can find the dragon or iqr to take the measurements off I think that would be a good skid to swap in. I also didn't really like the stock short track skid.
Maybe it was how I had it set up. My buddy also had a 12 nytro and his with the stock skis felt like it had the same steering effort. Last season I had a new viper xtx the steering effort was like my 2012 cat f800 sno pro was. I find the nyrto has heavy steering and would like to find a setup...
Thanks for the help. This sled came with 2 sets of skis. I was just going to sell a set I will have to wait until winter and sell a set. I had the tuner skis on my 13 NYTRO and didn't really like them all that much. Also found them heavy to steer.

I was having the same issue with mine last year. Check the coil resistance when they are hot. You will have to run the sled till it starts to stumble. Then pop the colis and test resistance. Another issue I have with mine was the 2 wire connectors that connected the coil were loose fitting. Use...
I bought an aftermarket starter it lasted about 600 miles. That was about the same mileage as the original one. The nitro one is the same. I think all the sleds except the phaser had the same starter since 2003 on the warrior. Not 100% sure on that but this is what I remember.
Both of mine were just failed starters, the teeth are good. I pulled the starter apart this time and one of the magnets cracked in half, fell onto the rotor and ripped the other magnets off. Looks like this caused the rotor to short to ground. I started it with a rope and rode back to the place...
Another fail for me. New starter 700 miles ago, and another no start, this time in mid quebec. Viper had another ride in the back of my truck. This time i think it is the battery that went. 1500 miles on the sled. I was able to get it pull started with my buddies skidoo pull cord. This got me...
Tried a different battery that I know works and still just the solenoid. So it is confirmed. Bad starter. Thank for the extra help guys. Hopefully it will be in the shop first thing. Warranty gotta love it.
