Based on the FAST install doc I verified the front holes are there as you said. Seem like their template is nothing more than a piece of metal with 2 holes drilled 25.55" apart. I'd be interested in what you did for the front brace. Not sure if you'd want to sell a set? :)

Anybody have any info about putting a Polaris M10 in an 05 RX1? I found lots of info about 03's but obviously a different animal. What modifications are necessary and has anyone posted any instructions for doing it?

Is anyone familiar with the construction of the front heat exchanger for an RX-1? It is on my buddy's sled (previously owned by me) and was damaged on a recent trip. Kinda looks like a stud might have caught it on the middle ridge. Is that location weldable? I assume we will need to remove it...

According to their product info as well as an email to Kevin, they are both 1-3/8" and interchangeable. At this point I sure hope so since the parts are in transit.

Thanks maim...I went ahead and ordered the Braided Flex Pipe kit from F/X Garage Works and also copper doughnuts. If I find that nothing cracked then I'll just replace the doughnuts. If the flex pipe or Y pipe cracked I'll use the kit, since you need to cut off some of the Y pipe anyway to use...

So I've read all the stuff on here about exhaust doughnuts, cracked flex pipes and cracked Y-pipes and etc. The sled has 5700 miles on it. I had the backfiring issue a while back but that turned out to be TORS so I never looked into the exhaust. I'm about to sell the sled to my riding buddy...
