Need to replace front Pivot on 2014 LTX

2014 vs 2016 Front Pivot arm for LTX. I have a 2014 and have a crack where the main attachment point is. Noticed it when I went to grease it. It cracked in a similar spot last year and I welded it, now its cracked in a new spot. My question is I thought I read that 2016+ was updated /...

    2000 Vmax 500 Ski Options

I recently bought my son a 2000 VMax 500 and it came with USI SS Railer skis. I am sure these are great performance skis, but for a 10 year old it makes things quite difficult to steer. I was thinking about putting a ski from an RX / RS, but I was not sure if they would fit. Does anyone have...

Ride Light Mount / Wiring options

I went to Roc's website to look up the Ride Light. It says that a mount and pictures are coming, just wondering if anyone else had a simple mount they use? Also for the wiring I was wondering if anyone thought an RCA style splitter would work off my Heated Shield cord? Would be simple to put...

    Bills Center Spring, needed?

So I have read on here that alot of folks have Bill Mohrs center spring. I have his clutch kit and that has been great. It seems the consensus is that it takes some weight off the front end of the sled. I currently have AC skis with snowtrackers and I have no issues with it being difficult to...

    Limited travel rear suspension

So after working with Steve last night (thank you steve) I found that there is no issue with the shock or mounting. I also am aware that it should return to full height when off the dolly. My inital concern, and after thinking about it may be moot. Was that when the sled is on flat surface if...

    Limited travel rear suspension

I didnt think it was the shock either, but I will get some pics of it tonight when I get home as I need to thaw it out from my ride yesterday.

    Limited travel rear suspension

I dont think that it is, the bottom of the shock is between the idler wheels. I will take some more pictures when I get home, unless I can talk the wife into it. But when we were comparing on the trail to my buddys 16 they looked identical upon inspection

    Limited travel rear suspension

Here is a link to a video that I created, when it would contact the transfer block the suspension would stop. I did find that if I get on the rear bumper and basically bounce down by standing on it, I can get it go to past, but it is not smooth. My buddy has a 16 Viper LTX lE and his goes...

    Limited travel rear suspension

Anyone?? In doing some reading it seems that when the rear arm hits the transfer blocks the suspension then becomes near impossbile to move fuether. When riding it, it feels like bottoming and is harsh but I really don't think it is bottoming

    Cold starting

I have the new flash, and it was 2f and she started each time. My buddy has a 16 and same day his started but did backfire once on coldest morning

    Limited travel rear suspension

So went out for the first time this year and on new flash everything was great. Second day though the trails got a little bumpy and it seemed like my rear suspension travel was limited on the larger bumps. I stopped and pushed down on the back and seemed to move ok for about 75%of the travel...

New Ecu flash for Yamaha Viper/Arctic cats 7000 w/POLL

So because my sled was at the dealer already for the chaincase leak I asked them to see if there were an updates. They told me no, the latest one is from 2016. Because my dealer is about 1 hour away each direction I decided I would give Yamaha Corporate a try to see what they have to say. I...

New Ecu flash for Yamaha Viper/Arctic cats 7000 w/POLL

So my sled is currently at the dealer, they are dealing with the chaincase leak under warranty. I asked them to check to ensure the ECU was on the latest software and as of this morning they said it is, which is a flash from Sept of 2016. Anyone have any details on this latest flash?
