Just throwing this out there, but when it's extreme cold why not a very, very, I mean a very small amount of ether. I've never tried it on my sled but if you were careful with the dosage, should help. I know, I know.... KaBOOM.... but IF... you were careful... maybe?

Probably not a problem(yet), but I would put them on. Should be able to get them from the dealer.

Well I know this is a little late but anyway..... Don't have to take the entire skid out, just unbolt the rear bolts and drop the rear of the skid down. It's definatly easier to access them with it out but I have done it both ways...

Don't clean your seat with armor-all or anything like that. I put some brake cleaner on a rag and give it a good wipe off. Makes it not slippery. I've done this for years now with no problems... I don't like a slippery seat....

Good luck finding them used... I just put some on my Apex. They really do work well, but the price ......... It's hard buying anything across the border now with the dollar the way it is.... btw,,,, I tried Sled Werx,,, he doesn't carry them,,, told me he "heard" there were problems with...

I assume you want to cure the bottoming out issue? Depending on how heavy you are, there are other ways to achieve this without the new spring. First choice....A revalve of the shock makes a world of difference. You can also remove the spring and move the clip that holds it on the bottom up to...

Yep, they go on the end of the bolts that hold the steering pivot assembly on. Low in the front nose of the sled. Really hard to see them but they are there just in case your bolts come loose, that they won't fall right out and have zero steering...

Hope these work... I would check every steering component for missing bolts... If you had your A-Arms off maybe bolts from tie rods???

I just went out and checked, the wire is for the coolant temp sensor(I think). sending unit is right beside the starter. The bolts got me a little baffled. They sure look like the bolts that hold the upper side steering block on. The one right by the reverse lever. I'm almost certain they have...

I have my sled torn down right now so I'll go out and check in a hour or so. Have you been doing any work recently to give an idea where the bolt may be from. Steering block maybe... I'll check...

Just a thought again... Could be the TSS. If it just sounds like it is missing the whole time it is pinned then it could be the TSS. If it bogs, probably fuel related...

I know you said you cleaned them,buuuuut, gas gums up very fast now. Is this something that just started out after storage or did you have them apart for mods or something? Either way, the pilot jets on these are very small, they may look clean but you need to take them out and run a guitar...
