This primary clutch noise is insane

I just can't believe how loud this clutch is on my Wife's 2010 Vector. I had a 2006 Nytro and it was never like this. I have a buddy with an Apex with 13K on it and his is quiet. I have to find a fix. Somewhere I think I saw Ulmer respond to a post about o-rings behind the slider shoes that wear...

I need someone to make me 40th anniversary graphics in blue

Anybody know a graphics guy that could make me some hood graphics just like the 40th anniversary hood graphics in blue? I need to get rid of these goofy silver flames on my Wife's 2010 Vector LTX. I was going to buy the 09 blue ones like my avatar, but geez they are expensive. I can buy a wrap...

Can anyone tell me if any other speedometer will work on a 2010 Vector?

The micro fiche only shows the same part number for the 2010's and 2011's. The 2012 shows a different part number, but I wonder if it will work? If all they changed was the face or something like that, it wouldn't bother me. For that matter, would an Apex speedometer work? Any insight would be...

Is it OK run a Vector without the speedo plugged in?

I am fixing a rolled over Vector, the speedo is missing and I was wondering if it is ok to start it up and run it? It might take me a while to find one, and I want to warm it up to change oil in this thing this spring. I know on my Cat Procross they say don't start it with the speedo...

why are my new hi-fax shorter?

I just got some new hi-fax for my 06 Nytro. The dealer ordered the part number 8FU-47421-00-00 as per the Yamaha micro-fiche. When they came in they had the superceded part number of SMA-8FU92-00-BK on them. They are 1 3/4" shorter than the original ones that were on the sled. The dealer didn't...

    charging the battery

Can I charge the battery on my 06 Nytro by using the extension leads that are by the oil tank? I assume that is what they are there for, but just thought I'd ask first.

Dealer installed hand warmers don't work

Guys, I need a little help. Last May I took my 06 Nytro to the dealer to do the handle bar update. today was the first time I rode it since the install was done. The grips stay stone cold, I don't think they are getting power. The thumb warmer is hot. After I got home today I looked to see...

new track slapping the front of the rails

I posted this on the other side too, but alot of you guys came from SRX's and Vipers. My new camo 9860 track hits the front of the rails right where the black end caps are. Really makes alot of noise. I put on 8 tooth drivers, so I assume this is because of the new approach angle from the...

Need a stud pattern for 120 down the center

I'm using 1.375 studs with round plastic backers, I think. But I can't decide on a pattern. The sled is a 02 Viper with a Camo 9860 1 1/4 track. Anybody have a good pattern that they have had luck with? Thanks. 8)

    What is a Camoplast 9860?

Can't seem to find this part number on the Camo site. Is it a discontinued part number? If so, replaced by what? Looks like an inch and a qtr to me. I have an oppourtunity to but a brand new one worth the money for my Viper. But I would like to know more about it. Thanks, Chad.
