@Macheater: I think we really got a pretty good deal on them considering the extras on the sleds and they gave us all the original equipment too. Tracks, bumpers, skis etc.
@biffdotorg: Neither of them are stretched at all. Both running the 1.5 tracks and Slydog powder hound skis...
Thanks! I got the orange one ;)! We've had a 07 for two winters now and the only problem we've had with it was the weak links in the rear suspension which I knew was updated for later models. I'm going to take the front end apart this summer and check/replace bushings and what not...
My dad and I just picked up a couple of 09 Phazers this weekend. Check em' out. I'm familiar with the known 2007 issues are there any issues that I should be watching for on the 09's?
X2 on the windshield bag. Good amount of storage and out of the way. I just seen one on ebay the other day and I think it was $40 bucks. You might want to check there if you go that route.
A couple of your questions I'm currently dealing with myself. First, I recently asked about the front A arm bushings myself and a few people recommended Ulmers for the bushing kit. I haven't gotten around to ordering it yet but hopefully here in the near future I will.
Secondly, the...
Cylinder #1 Ignition Coil (Faulty Ignition) is what the code 33 means. You can read the rest of the description here: http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=67046 Its a sticky at the top of the forum. Hope that helps, I'm sure someone here will have more info too ;)! .
I don't weld, nor do I know anyone around that does. Think I'm going to order up a new one today and possibly take the broken one to get it welded so I'll have a spare if it breaks again. I found one one for 186.00 online at another dealer and the dealer near me wanted almost $250. I can't...
Hey Guys, found a broken arm on my sled today (naturally as there is 5" of fresh stuff on the ground). It's the front arm on the skid. I found other posts saying Yamaha updated that arm and beefed it up. My question is was there a recall on this? It's not under warranty anymore obviously.
Does anyone know if there is a bushing kit to replace the most/all the bushings up front? I know I can order the individual bushings but I was hoping there a kit that would include them all. I'm starting to get some slop up front and I'd like to get everything snugged back up. Thanks! :4STroke:
Quick question. Are the rear shocks on a FX rebuildable? If not, can anyone recommend a decent replacement that won't break the bank? Thanks in advance! :4STroke:
Nevermind.... realized that the switch on my 97 vmax was the same so I switched it out and it worked fine on the RX1. Looks like I'll just have to replace the switch. Thanks
I have a 03' RX1 that the brake light has stopped working on. If I take apart the switch I can manually flip on the light so I know it is in the switch somehow. It seems like if I could get more throw on the brake lever it would trip the switch however, I can't see anyway to adjust the throw...
