You already said mods were out (budget). But if it weren`t so the skins front end cures that even with the swaybar attached. You will use more body in the turns do to the newfound flex though.

Definately look into some way to preconnect the fuel level wire before you slide the tank in because the side of the tank wraps around the steering support loop and covers the area where that connection gets made. Half hour struggle for me. I will come up with a solution next summer when I go to...

My new style tank went in pretty good. like to see them come with wire extention for the fuel gauge. Thare right about the fasteners you have to use a screwdriver and wonder if you are stripping them but everything pulled together to a good fit. ;)!

I agree, the exposed thread is a little more than I would like, so reading this makes me feel better.

I probably shold keep track of this thread because I haven`t ridden on them yet. If I have the same problem I will try the weights.

Either your tie rods are backwards or mine are. Mine don`t hit. the instructions wer very clear where the short end of the bend goes for clearance. Not the greatest instructions but that part was clear.
